Growing up, I believed that having a high-paying job and a well-known career in the healthcare industry was the only way to find fulfilment in life. To meet expectations, I became a nurse and worked in different Health Care Streams in Canada.

Like an all too familiar story with my partners here in Greatway, I was made aware of the business through a presentation four years ago. In 2018, after a few months of invitations and attending presentations, I decided to join Greatway. I used to work as a full-time Registered Nurse at the Foothills Medical Center and part-time at the Long-term Care facility. Seeing the value of the opportunity to me, I immediately quit my full-time job.

Greatway opened my mind to the possibility of retiring earlier than planned, which means more time with the people I cherish. I believe each of us needs time and financial freedom, which I found through Greatway.

With earning more than in my previous nursing job, and no more working shift work to working from home, I now have the luxury of spending more time with my family to earn more money, I worked a lot of shifts, including overtime and holidays. Though the income was great, I found myself paying more in taxes and ending up with nearly the same amount of money as if I had only worked regular hours. The time I spent working tirelessly for a couple of dollars took away valuable moments I could have spent with my husband and family.
